Coastway Hospital Radio

Coastway Hospital Radio is based in Brighton, providing an essential service to patients in the various Brighton hospitals. We make sure that we keep their web costs to an absolute minimum!

Food and Mood

We didn't design this extensive site, but the client asked us to take it over and maintain it. We also updated the coding to make it standards-compliant and to make the regular updating quicker - and therefore cheaper!

Searchlight

Searchlight is an old-established charity in Newhaven, East Sussex. It provides residential, day and respite care to people with physical and/or mental disabilities. For this project we worked with one of their Trustees, a graphic designer, to produce a bright, attractive and welcoming site.

Act On It

This non-profit organisation organises drama projects for young people across Sussex. They were keen to base the site on the eye-catching bright orange and green from their house colours.

Sankey Canal Restoration Society

This site was designed by a member of the Society, but due to lack of time it had lain dormant for several years. We have taken over its maintenance, adding a backlog of a dozen newsletters, and are modernising the coding as each section comes to be updated.

UK-US Forum

This forum for Americans and Brits - and any other English-speaking people - was produced using the open-source software SMF.  The default appearance was completely revised and various parts of the functionality amended to fit the requirements of the user group.

Coventry Rainbow Canal Boat Trust

This charity owns and operates the narrowboat "Lady Godiva", providing experience of the canals to people with any type of disability.  It was the chosen charity of a late friend of ours, and we produced and maintain this web site for them free in his memory.

Lewes Bonfire Council

The Council is the co-ordinating body for all six of the Lewes Bonfire Societies.  The site explains the history and current practice of Bonfire Night, and is illustrated with some of the many glorious photographs available.

Lewes Flood Action

We are very happy to support Lewes Flood Action, a community pressure group which lobbies with a view to prevention of future flooding in Lewes, by designing a web site for them.  Simple in presentation, this site is designed first and foremost to be informative.  It has been allowed to lie static for some time, but plans are in hand to expand and update it.

Rocket FM Lewes

A fun site for a local radio station which is on air for just three weeks each year, but which impacts on the local community for considerably longer.  The clients give us free rein to exercise our imaginations, resulting in a site which has often been redesigned from scratch, and is updated daily while on-air.  The latest version features a countdown timer, and also offers audio streaming to the entire world.

Lewes Footpaths Group

Lewes Footpaths Group designed and wrote their own web site, but approached us to check it for cross-browser compatibility and accessibility by visually handicapped people.  We also registered their domain name and arranged hosting on their behalf, uploaded the site and submitted it to the search engines.
