Jim and Tom Best Racing

Jim and Tom Best run a racing stable/training yard in Lewes, East Sussex, and asked us to produce their web site. It looks as though it is as much of a winner as their horses are!

Wordwrights

This Ireland-based firm assists with the production of well-designed and well-written documents, from a major Annual Report and Accounts to a working party report. Dealing with Irish domain names was a interesting and novel experience for us.

SSW Fencing Ltd

For this fencing contractor, we produced a design based on a chain-link fence.  They initially started with a single-page web site, and were so happy with its results that they asked us to expand it to seven pages, with an updated design.

Blue Anchor Training

This firm had a home-produced web site for which they needed a professional re-design in two stages: firstly, we incorporated their original design into a more professional-looking format, and then made the move to a full redesign of the site.

Doc Rowe Archive & Collection

The Doc Rowe Collection and Archive is a unique national resource containing a lifetime's collection of material relating to British folklore, song, dance and cultural traditions, with particular emphasis on seasonal calendar customs. The web site makes strong use of many photographs from the Archive.

Playing Matters

Playing Matters trains adults to communicate effectively with children and young people. It incorporates Listening Matters and Drama Matters, and provides a wide variety of courses for therapists, counsellors and workers in the Education, Health and Social Services sectors.

Pomegranate Press

Pomegranate Press is a Lewes publishing firm specialising publishing Sussex writers.  They also offer an expert and economical self-publishing service to authors.  The site showcases their publications and their other services.

Castle Cricket Books

This firm offers for sale items from their very extensive collection of cricket scorecards and other ephemera, with particular reference to Sussex County Cricket Club.  We designed this site using the colours of that club, and plenty of Neil's collection of cricket drawings.  We also implemented a site search facility.

Berkeley House

This client, a bed-and-breakfast proprietor, already had a web site which needed to be re-written, in order to update and add to the content;  to give a warmer and more welcoming feel;  to optimise the graphics;  and to improve its search engine rankings.  We also arranged new hosting for the site and for two other domain names which now redirect to it.

Southover Sound Services

This business provides PA services to conferences, live bands and all kinds of functions. They so much liked the design we produced for their web site that they asked us to produce a similar design for their business cards!

County Computer Services

This invaluable Lewes business has saved our bacon on a number of occasions when we have had hardware problems, and has built us a computer to our own specifications.  We were delighted to create a web site to showcase all that they can offer.

Disputes Resolved

A Lewes firm offering mediation and alternative dispute resolution.  We brought a bright, colourful, light-hearted look and feel to this serious subject in an attempt to emphasise that disputes can be successfully resolved, leaving all parties happy.  The site is regularly updated and expanded.

Transitional Consultancy & Training

This firm, who offer all kinds of training and therapy, wrote their own web site and asked us to give it a technical check, particularly with a view to accessibility and search engine placement.  They also asked us to give the design a professional gloss, and to organise hosting. They maintain the site themselves.
